The awards for the Boulder Marathon are truly fantastic. We give awards to the top three places in the age divisions printed below. All finishers receive high quality medals. The age divisions are as follows:

10 Kilometer

Runners must be at least 14 years old on race day to compete in the Boulder Half Marathon (and waiver must be signed by parent or guardian if 16 or under). To compete in the marathon, the runner must be at least 16 years old on the day of the race.

In our effort to recognize the achievements of runners that win their age divisions, the Boulder Marathon will award a free 2010 entry for the winner of each division in the marathon and half marathon – in both the men's and women's fields. Also, the overall winners of the marathon and half marathon (male and female) will each receive $500 in prize money from the Boulder Marathon.

Each year we create awards that are creative, high quality, and an honor for the runners to receive. Below are pictures of the medals that the runners receive, as well as the awards from 2007 and 2008.
